This project focuses on position control in direct current (CC) motors using a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. Position control is essential in industrial and automation systems. The analog PID is used to regulate the position of a DC motor, taking as input a reference signal that represents the desired position and a feedback signal that measures the current position. The PID calculates the error between these two signals and generates a control signal to correct the error. The objective of position control is to maintain the desired position of the DC motor precisely and without oscillations. The PID achieves this by constantly feedback of the current position and adjusting the control signal accordingly.
